Biography

Kai Zhao (Member, IEEE) is an Associate Professor in the School of Communication and Information Engineering at Shanghai University.

He conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Los Angeles,
and received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Nankai University in 2020.

He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Shanghai University in 2014 and 2017, respectively.

His research interests include computer vision and deep learning,
with a particular focus on data-efficient and computationally efficient models.
